Jon M. Jacobs

Bio

Jon Jacobs joined the firm in 1994 after working as an Assistant District Attorney under William Delahunt.  As a prosecutor Jon gained valuable trial experience and courtroom training which serves as a foundation for his practice at Esdaile, Barrett, Jacobs & Mone.  The primary focus of his practice is Civil Litigation and tort law, specifically automotive negligence, complex wrongful death cases, sports related negligence, premises liability, fire and building code violation cases, construction site liability, medical malpractice and products liability.

Professional Accomplishments

Jon has successfully represented victims of negligence who have suffered catastrophic injuries including brain damage, amputation, post traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain induced by trauma and joint replacement.  He is proud to fight for the rights of injured individuals against negligent parties and has secured numerous million dollar results on behalf of his clients.  Illustrative of the types of cases Jon has successfully concluded are a lengthy and complex wrongful death matter cause by a landlord’s negligent defiance of building and fire codes that resulted in the death of five people in a building fire and a suit against a negligent day care center which resulted in the crushing death of a small child. Jon shows compassion for those who suffer due to no fault of their own, and often continues his care and contact with clients long after the cases have been concluded.
